MEET KELLIE WUTTUNEE

As a lawyer at Wuttunee Law Office, I provide effective and culturally responsive legal services to Indigenous clients, specializing in residential real estate, Aboriginal law, labour and employment law, and governance law for First Nations and Tribal Councils. I have a Juris Doctor degree from University of Saskatchewan and a Master's degree in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University, which enable me to combine my legal and social work skills in my practice.

I have successfully represented clients and submitted recommendations in the MMIW, appeal tribunals, and Canada labour board arbitrations, demonstrating my strong advocacy and negotiation skills. I have also contributed to multiple publications and presentations on Indigenous issues, sharing my knowledge and insights as a Nehiyaw Iskwew (Cree Woman) from Red Pheasant Cree Nation. I am fluent in Cree and English, which enables me to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. I am passionate about advancing the rights and interests of Indigenous peoples, and I strive to uphold the principles of justice, equity, and reconciliation in my work.
